I'm working on a 1952 D6 dozer. I am having a problem getting the oil pan off the block. I have all the bolts out and I drove the dowel pins out. I have beat on it, pryed on it, and tried to drive a wedge between the block and the pan and it still wont move. Any ideas?

Are you sure you got all the bolts?
There are:
30 -7/16 x 1-1/8 pan bolts
4- 1/2 x 1-1/2 bell housing bolts
7- 3/8 x 1-3/4 bolts into the timing cover

With all these out it's a clear drop but you have to drop or remove the equalizer spring bracket to get it out.

Thanks for the reply! It is inside in the heat! Do all of the bolts that screw into the timing cover come up from the bottom?

Yes, all from the bottom.
Are you sure on the year model??? the earlier D4600 "R" series tractors have some "juggle" requirements to get the pan off.

Sure someone did not glue it on with something like Cat super gasket cement, if so it is almost impossible to get things apart.

Year and model is correct.
Pull the side covers off and have a look in there to see if anything is hanging it up. I'm stumped😕 😕
Are all the bolts accounted for??

Turns out it was just the gasket that was glued on! I used the torch to burn the gasket out and then soaked it with WD-40. After about 2 hours with a pry bar, the pan finally broke loose! Thanks for all the help!
