Congratulations d4angelo! I know how you feel, I have that same big grin after so many years being away from this machinery.
Congratulations on your new Cat, what's even better is that it so closely resembles the one that you cut your teeth on as a kid. We're all expecting to see some pics now!
Excellent! Glad to see someone get a new toy! I wondered if the young fellow was going to find a buyer for the Cat.... Heard it was going to be applied for his college funding. As I understand, his school has a great Ag program along with some very talented instructors to lead them. I think it was a wonderful thing for all parties. Please share some photos of your new gem. I don't always ask for a 'Finders Fee', but when I do...it's "DOS EQUIS"...and make sure it's cold!

I was setting up some awnings in Vista this morning and saw someone driving a shiny new D-4 like the model the club is offering later this year; glad to hear you are a member of Chapter 16; great pictures also....
Nice looking D4 you have there.I unloaded the D6 and scraper right next to those antique trucks last Sunday.
d4e,
I hope you want to do a little earthwork demonstration for us with your cat and pan. We have permission to "dig" (very shallow) up in the wheatfield which is something we've never had an option on before. We'll have Dave Bowman's big Cat pull grader running with you and not sure what else. We'll hook Angelo's D4 up to the pull grader but he may not have enough umph to pull it.
Will you be coming down both weekends?
Jan
That D4 looks more like a '53
What is the serial number?
