Allan Harris called me this morning to let me know that Fred Heidrick, Jr. passed away last evening after a brief battle with cancer. Fred is the son of legendary collector Fred Heidrick who built the greatest collection of antique Best, Holt and Caterpillar machines ever assembled.

Fred Jr. was a farmer with the family empire and past President of the Heidrick Ag History Center. Fred and his entire family have always been very gracious and accommodating to friends and collectors from around the world. Fred will be greatly missed by family and friends across the globe. Arrangements are pending and will be posted when available.

Very sorry to hear of the passing of a gentleman like Fred. Spent some time with Fred and could not have been made more welcome and looked after better. Will be sadly missed.
Regards and Best wishes to all the family,

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
