I purchased a 10 with a power takeoff not installed. The pt converts the drive shaft to a pulley drive and turns power 90 digrees. Attempted
to install but bolts and frame do not line up. The books I have do show pt. Does any one have drawings or anyone have a similar pt
Thanks

You probably have a PT off of a PV15 or 22

If your talking about the flange mounting to the tractor the pattern should look like this.

Thanks for help. The p-t I have connects to p-t on Ten which is the same as in your picture. It turns power 90 dia and has a flat pulley. The unit has a square metal box with 4 studs to connect to case. The bolt pattern is larger than on Ten or on 22. I have tried to add pictures from photo gallery to this page. I am lacking in computer skills.
Thanks again to both of you for help.

You will never get that to work because it is not the correct one. It looks like a PTO off a 9N ford or similar. You do not have the correct part. - Wally

I have a stationary drive on my CAT TEN that does not have
a shifter lever on it. My serial # PT322.
What kind is this?

Joe, take photos from different angles and someone will be able to identify it for you - see if you can include some casting numbers.

I found a cast number on side of case A-PT-748 . This is not CAT number does anyone have any information on this P-T.
Joe does your Ten have a lever under seat for P-T . Could you sent pictures.

Early on Cat made the 10 PTO without a shift handle. When the tractor was running the PTO was running. I have one also. -

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
