a rail height of 3.54 inches shows 50% wear on my chart
27.51 inches on 5 pins shows 75% wear
the track adjuster rods and nuts will be a bit of work to replace
Doe it have a dozer blade setup on it?
I don't know where that info is coming from but my Cat Track Service Handbook shows that link to be 3.66" high new and at 3.56" it's 90.4% worn.
If you measured right with stretched rails 27.56" is 110 % worn.
Thanks for the replies, yes it has a dozer blade, my measurements were just done roughly with a tape measure I had with me. Hoped they weren't that bad though, tried measuring across five pin centers just as the tractor sat. Track seemed stretched tight. Does the "sealed" stamping on the links mean they are replacement tracks?

These values are coming from Crawler Heaven website---i would assume the Cat handbook is more correct.
O M do you happen to have that same info for the D2's
The Crawler Heaven charts do not seem to consider the actual track link part numbers and may only reflect the latest production versions.
Here is what I have on the D2....Also the same as the Cat 22 so I am told.
The new Cat numbers for the D2 match link height and pin wear of crawler heaven---which also matches a chart that Swishy posted and I printed in 2007
The 100% wear (service limit?) are a little different
It's probably close on the D2's because there hasn't been any upgrades to the links since new. Not so with other rails.
0.120 to 0.125" is the maximum allowable pin and bushing elongation for 100% worn on just about all of them.
