Here is my 983 it's my favorite machine ever made. I love to operate this beast she always has enough to get the job done no matter how big. It's all original paint and is in great shape. I'm looking for another one to put with it, I'm going to just keep buying until I have a whole collection of 983's!!!!!

Watch out for the steel mill loaders, every bolt on the lower half will be froze solid! The later B models had the 3406 engines where the early ones had the D343 engines.

the forestry industry here in Tasmania were mad about these machines for years using them for loading log trucks - a role now taken over by excavators and self-loading trucks.

I watched one work for a couple of hours once and was amazed at their speed and durability. And the engine sounded fantastic. Pity all the ones in Tassie are basically now worn out or scrapped.

Heh, Rome I checked out that video. Best part was, after crashing through that entire house, he then goes "shhh..." so that they don't make too much noise and can hear the bandits!
