A friend of mine recently completed the restoration of a D.R. Throop Land Leveler. It was originally sold by H.C. Shaw Implement Company in Stockton, CA in the early 1920's. This one was found in Susanville, CA. He spent many hours getting it back in working condition. He is planning on bringing it to the next Tulare show. He will be at the Cletrac exhibit and ask for Richard. He loves to talk about antique implments especially if you have something to trade. G

Very nice piece of machinery. I would love to have something like it to pull behind a 10. - Wally

Nice find looks like a perfect fit for the cletrac. It's hard to find hand operated land leveling equipment good to see it's been saved Skinner

Great job. I have one that size that I need to get loosened up so I can pull it w my Best 25. Mine does not have the seat.

I have the large 10-12 foot wide DR Throop that is pulled by a 60. There is a picture of the big one in the Cat 60 photo gallery book being pulled by a 60.

I plan on having both at Santa Margarita for our show on Memorial Day Weekend 2015.

We would love to have your Cletrac and DR Throop in Santa Margarita next year.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
