wow them some nice pic thanks Pete sure looks like a nice place there.
Pete:
Thanks for posting all of the pictures. Great to see the pictures of Don and your daughter Alison. Both had such a good time in 2010 and will be deeply missed as we embark on a new journey.😇
The Santa Margarita ranch has added a new zip-line tour since the 2010 show. I got to do the 5 zip-lines on Sunday and had a GREAT time. It was pretty cool sailing right through the canopies of majestic oaks and over vineyards and meadows. I highly recommend this to all who come to the show.
If your wives/husbands and kids are whining about coming with you to the show there are lots of really neat things to do and see in SLO County. Hundreds of wineries, great beaches, Hearst Castle, quaint ocean side towns, historic Missions and lots more. Start planning now as Memorial Day 2015 will be here before we know it.😛arty:
OM, ACMOC will be an invited guest but this 2015 show will not be "The" ACMOC show as that show has been awarded.
Scott, there is lots to do in our County as you can see from the above post.
That is great news!
Here are a few pics that my father took while he was at the show in 2010

Thanks Erik, I hope you and your dad and sons can make it back out to CA one day soon.
Having never attended the show, it is very informative to see all the photos. It looks like a wonderful venue. Tom, great thing to note about spouses and kids attending and being kept occupied. I look forward to attending soon. And yes, I did note the great photos of some dear folks who are missed. Thanks for crafting another fabulous destination.
I was out of the country for the 2010 show and the pictures really show what I missed out on. I plan to bring my 14A to the 2015 show. Mike and I can do some side by side pushing with the "now go" HO 2U. Glen, please bring the 36A with the ripper so those of us with cable dozers can get into the ground deeper...and the 660 too.
For those of you that were at Santa Margarita 2010 may recall, we got the go ahead to dig in the dirt just the week of the show. The owners of the ranch had no problem with us digging--but we had to get clearance from our County that we were not violating the Grading Ordinance. I called them after the show to have them come and confirm that all the dirt that had been removed from the hole had been put back in and re-compacted.
Bob, Glen jumped at the last minute and brought a full fleet of his equipment to Santa Margarita. I know that Glen and his crew along with Mike M. hauled many loads of Glen's stuff into the show and were the stars of the show. It was really neat because the dirt digging was right next to the display area and in the middle of the parade route so all of the participants and spectators felt like they were in the middle of the show. This is how we would like to set up the dirt digging again next year.
It will be nice that you can bring out the 14A, I hope to have the 5U and hyd. Eversman scraper, my 7U and 40 and the former Don Hunter 9G 7 and Let set up to move dirt. Between what Pete and Daron have, Glen brings and we have locally, we can have a very nice dirt moving demonstration. I hope that some of the other collectors are planning to bring in the earth moving equipment as you can never have too much working stuff at a show. 😛arty:
