The California International Air Show Salinas is this weekend. If anyone can make it, I will have my 1932 U.S.M.C. CAT 25 and 1943 NAVY CLETRAC MG1 there. This year the US Navy Blue Angles, and Canadian Forces Snowbirds are here. The weather should be good. Bring a jacket just in case. This is going to be a great Air Show! Bill

I don't think I'm going to be able to make it this year. Things are going backwards on my home project. Frank

That is a very fine looking display you have placed at the Air Show Bill. Greg

Only "heavy" I ever was around while it was running was a B25. (and I realize that isn't a real heavy bomber)

The noise when they ran the engines up before taxi-ing away from the hardstand was incredible. I'm sure he didn't run full throttle right there, could have blown some other display aircraft away if he had.

Really unique tractors you have there Bill.
D2-5J's, D6-9U's, D318 and D333 power units, 12E-99E grader, 922B & 944A wheel loaders, D330C generator set, DW20 water tanker and a bunch of Jersey cows to take care of in my spare time😄

I attended this show at Rickenbacker today with my daughter. Pretty impressive. I didn't count them but the organizers said 100 P-51s were there, along with a new P-51 with a Griffin and contrarotating prop, good for 540mph on the flat, a B17, B25, a couple of Cirrus, a flock of F15s from the Thunderbirds, some Stearmans (including an incredible display by a John Mohr - I've been to a few displays in my time but this guy had it down to a fine art compared to the rest), a C5 (gigantic), and a swag of other planes. Makes me wish I had taken a career in the Air Force.

Cheers,
Neil.

We were in a great spot to display the tractors. The CAT 25 is a M2 light and the Cletrac is a M2 medium.
