Pete, You can buy the old style keys on ebay for a few bucks. My CAT22 is a 1935 model and uses this style key.

That is not a 22 key. They used the Eisemann small lever switch
Is this correct?

That switch would be Ten,Pv Fifteen (big), 7C Fifteen (small), 25, I think also the big 20 but do not have a book or machine to know for sure. I know my 8C 20 (small 20 )has the same Eisemann lever switch as my 22's.I have seen a few Cat 22's that have the round thimble Eisemann switch like my 28 but not sure if thoses 22's were correct. I have limited books to check
Is this it?

I need a key for the eisemann switch like the one in dpete's post can anyone help? Thanks. Skinner
22s had 2 different style switches. Early was what they referred to as the thimble switch and the later was a toggle type switch. I will post some pictures tomorrow if I don't forget. - Wally
