G'day. Haven't been on for a while, doing a bit of work on a neighbours D7E 48A11978. Wondering wether someone could help me out with the procedure and specs for adjusting brakes and control linkages for brake pedals and steering control. I have done a search but cannot find what I need.
Thanks Kevin

I hope this photo helps. If it comes out too small to read send me a private message with your email and I will send a larger copy. The instructions for the brake band adjustment is simple, tighten until just snug(do not over tighten) then loosen one turn. Let me know if you need more info.

G'day. Thanks seiscat and edb for the info, it will help me out. Eddie, I did a heap of work on this tractor about 12-13 years ago including the engine and one F/D. She has 28000hrs on the clock but only 1000hrs since I did work on it. Now it is loosing trans oil and sometimes getting hot as well as other minor issues, pulled the belly guard off it today so I can clean it off properly and she's wet all around the valving at the bottom of the torque converter. I will keep you informed and will no doubt need to share some knowledge.

It's Hot out you know. Lots of Torque Converter overheat is from lack of oil flow.
