That is a great snow plowing video. There was an larger old Cat with a V plow and wings on both sides sat at a farm on the shore of Lake Michigan in eastern Wisconsin a number of years back. I went looking or it 6 or 7 years ago but it was gone. One of them would be so much fun.

Yes, that is a neat old snow plowing video. Reminds me of my early youth back in Canada, small town in Quebec, still used horse drawn plow to clear sidewalks, one guy with the plow, other spreading sand. Same two guys would come around in the spring with the horse drawn sand wagon with vertical boiler mounted and steam out culverts to get snow melt flowing. This was in the late 40's and early 50's. Road snow removal was modern for the time with truck mounted equipment, blade and blower.
Small towns were still pretty backward at the time.

Awesome find-thank you for sharing! Great memories too I hope they keep coming. Did anyone else think of the King of Obsolete, especially with those trailer sleds?

I noted the dozer on a few machines made of boards and made me wonder if that is where term "mould board" comes from!.

Great find totally enjoed!

My grandfather used to plow snow with these machines. No hand controls to run the wings, you just stand out on the poles and crank the handles or run the chain falls.

Eric, great videos, reminds me of the days when our local town used Lynn tractors/half tracks and an old cat grader to keep the town roads open. I was about 10 when I got to ride in that old Lynn pushing snow. open cab with as much snow inside as out.

Thanks for sharing! much appreciated
