Any turbo should have a feed oil supply line and a return maybe the return dumps into the injection pump to lube the gears just a guess here. Jason
Yes, it does have an oil supply and a return to the sump. It also a line off of the side of the old turbo that goes to what appears to be the injector pump housing. It doesn't appear to be a pressureised line as it just sticks into the housing.
There was a field installation turbo oil lines group for some reason, maybe to add an oil cooler. Does it look like this?

Or they changed to a 7M7254 turbo and changed it to look like this:

If myn memory serves me correctly, the turbo feed line goes in the top, there were two types ,early fed from a lube valve on the side of the crankcase cover, the later from the filter base, as per the parts book pages already shown, the drain line from the bottom went to the fuel pump mounting bracket and into the crankcase. Some models had an extra 'breather' line which was a gland nut ftting which came horizontally out of the turbo centre housing and also went into a brass fitting in the fuel pump mounting bracket. If the turbo only has a supply and drain, plug the hole in the fuel pump bracket for the breather. I expect OM can turn up the parts book pages for this.
The oil feed comes from the bottom of the filter and the line from the bottom of the turbo goes into the back of the motor and apprears to drain into the sump. The line off of the center of the turbo goes into the housing by the injector pump. From what you are saying, we can just remove the center tube and plug the hole.
Thank you all very much
