Got a phone call last night from England saying that the Manifolds for CAT 28 are going to be reproduced soon!
This means the Intake Manifold and Drop Tube, the Exhaust Manifold and Heat Box.
These parts will be remanufactured back to ToolRoom Drawings with the correct Pattern Boxes and Core Details along with the Metalligical Composition and Pour Temperature Spec data. Then they will be machined back to Engineering Drawings and Inspection to insure the Final Cast Part is 110 % back to Spec!
