I see that there is an offer to ACMOC members on this model.
Can UK ACMOC members get this discounted model in the UK through ACMOC or will we have to get it from the USA?

Martyn,
I would need to check with Robert, to see if he is planning to order a batch of models for Chapter 2 members.
If you order it direct, you will have to pay shipping, import duty & VAT which will bump up the price.

Hi Martyn,
After talking with Jenny at ACMOC and with the manufacturer, it seems that David Wills has figured out the lowest cost way to transport the models across.

Hi Neil,
It is a little to early to predict the scraper introduction. We are thinking about another D9, but not sure of the order of introduction as yet.
Is anyone attending the National Truck 'N' Construction Show in Indianapolis this weekend? Anyone planning to come across to attend? If so inclined, stop by the tables of Catalac Construction Company. I would like to meet and chat with club members.
Next stop after that is the Western Minnesota Steam Threshers Reunion at Rollag, Mn on Labor Day weekend. By then the ACMOC National Show in Virginia will be just around the corner. Hope to meet many of you at the ACMOC merchandise tables at the Virginia Show.
Regards,
Lee

Yes i am very tempted by this model, (subject to the price of course.)
From the pictures in the Magazine leaflet It looks superb.
Importing one yourself to here in the UK, would sure destroy the discount i reckon.

Hello David
As you can see there looks like there is a bit of interest from chapter 2 members. It would be great if Robert can obtain the D9 at a good discount. I purchaced a D7M from an Acmoc member in LA some years ago for a good price. The discount would be wiped out with import duty. Also note that the cost of this model is due to rise so we need to sort things out asap.
Hello Neil, hope you are keeping well, liked the scraper photos in the mag.
Cheers
Martyn

Hey Martyn...I don't live in LA! I live in northern Calif. Glad you're still enjoying that D7M model!! Could one of you guys that has received the latest newsletter scan the D9E ad and post it here for those of us that haven't received the newletter yet?????? The way the mail works it may be awhile before it shows up and my curiosity is aroused about this new D9 model. I have the D9D and it is exceptional. It's detail is almost as good as the CCM D8H model which sells for a huge amount more. I do plan on buying the new model and the scraper model whenever that is produced. First Gear, the manufacturer of these D9 models does very nice work. I hope all our future models are done by them.
