Almost two months ago, Ron e-mailed these two photos to me to be re-sized and posted on the bb. Finally, here I am, doing what Ron asked me to do. I think the first photo is of the machine when he acquired it, the second is of the finished product. Beautiful job that Ron did!!!

It is heart warming to see a pile of "?" built up into something that man created!
At first I was going to say it would be super stable on the side hill but looking at it a second time I see its tall also! This would be an excellent "garden" tractor because of the clearance!

Ron, that is a great looking tractor whether it is an "experimental", a "prototype" or merely a kit sold by Cat to convert a 7C to high and wide.

Any idea what the serial number prefix is on that machine?

Thanks Goerge, We will be taking the tractors in the photo to the show in Richmond this september. There is no special markings on the serial plate or any other parts on this tractor. The spacers and the internal parts to make it wide have no numbers on them. and the shafts inside have only the marking of xx on them and a very faint mark simalar to a diamond shape next to it stamped in the end.

Tom,
The reason I ask about the serial number is I have this high clearance fifteen parts catalog and it looks like the 7c 15, but clearly is a different serial number series. and just wondered if the high wide one was yet another prefix or ?
