The truck in now located in NC and is showing 68,183 miles and 1779 hrs with a 350 Cummings, 13 speed and the body looks very solid.
That truck looks great. Any clue on how it lived so long with so few miles. Sure would make a nice toy hauler to go to the shows set up with a pintle hitch and deck trailer. Easy to get home after you buy it to. Just drive it.
Not sure Yet but you are right i have newer trucks to haul cats with but it sure would look cool riding down the road!

Nice truck, Looks like the wheel base is short enough were you could take the dump box off and mount a fifth wheel, and have a nice setup with a old trailer👍. Looks in great shape. Do you know who made the cab? I know Dimond T, Reo, International, (Ithink chevy some years) used the same cab, (for decades). If so alot of cabs in west michigan for it for parts.

I don't know what the purchase price of that truck might be on your side of the puddle but it has been my experience that trucks in general NEVER STOP costing you.
Still and all, it is not a bad-looking specimen of the breed.

Erik,I throught that I was the only one that was truely nuts,crazy,lost his mind guy.People look at me like I have 3 heads when I tell them that I collect antique caterpillars and old Mack trucks.Come to think about it my wife thinks the same.I have a 1979 Mack R model that just turn over 72,000 miles,we have owned it since new,that I have painted and little things to make it run great.Then I did over a 1956 Ford F600 stake body truck that I brought in from Montana.Am working on our 1964 Mack B873SX tractor,again we owned since new.I will tell you this it is much easier on the pocketbook,to buy one that is completely done like the one you are looking at.If I was to have someone do the B87 for me I would be looking at well over $100,000 to do it.Keep in mind when I started this truck I would have been able to drive it to the west coast and back, it was a running truck.Getting back to your truck I would say don't go over $8,000-10,000 for it.The 10 being you have to have it,can't live without it.The fellow that has it if he did the work himself has more than that in it.If it was a Mack it would be worth alittle more.There is a B61 Mack up this way for sale for like $20,000 that is completely done over.Has been for sale for awhile could maybe get it cheap.Well,that is the throught of a NUTS,CRAZY,LOST HIS MIND guy who collects antique Caterpillars,MAck trucks.Good luck,stay safe.Mike
