All the part numbers you have posted are interchangeable, and those blocks will work on all the D2s, and D4s up through the U series and other applications. In general when you see a casting number that is a few digits different than the part number, it is because the part that is listed in the book is an assembly, meaning there a couple extra parts included other than just the casting, such as studs or freeze plugs, etc, 4B666 is listed as a block and 4B671 as a block assembly.
The Dash cutout is correct for an early U model with pony electric.
Over the years that the D2 was produced, there were a bunch of different dashboard types, and the parts book did a poor job of showing the different cutouts and bumps, here are pics of some of them.![]()

General sequence is 4B0666 RPB 4B0671 or 7B3058
5F9341 RPB 5F9340 RPB 7H9318 which uses cap screws for the heads instead of studs.
