Thanks for the notification. George did a lot to promote the Cat hobby and will be missed. I got to meet George briefly at the Best Show on Tracks as he looked over the Diesel 70 tractor that we had just brought in from Hawaii. He said that was the first one he had heard about or seen in his many years of Cat collecting. Many of us have lots of Cat parts on our tractors that were make by George's company Logue Industries and hopefully many more parts will be made from his patterns in the coming years.
RIP Mr. Logue.
Very sorry to hear about George, he will be greatly missed.
Hi Team,
sorry to hear of the passing of George.
I met George some years back when he came to Australia for his daughters wedding.
He visited Cat of Australia and they bought him over to The Dealer for a half hour chat--they pulled us apart some two hours later.
Very generous and interesting man to chat with.
He will be sadly missed in the hobby with his knowledge and ability to get parts reproduced for the restoration community.
Cheers,
Eddie B.

George was a very intelligent man with a wonderful passion for all things Caterpillar.
He leaves behind a wonderful collection and many people he has touched over the years.
He was able to come to this years National show and accept the Dave smith award for his life time of achievements.
George had many many stories and was always fun to be around.
I am thankful for being able to meet him in 2008 and again this year, I was able to speak to him many times on the phone and I am thankful for those opportunities.
We have lost a true collector and friend, He will be missed.
Rest in Peace George.
Very sad hearing of Georges passing. I met George about 20yrs ago when I bought my first antique Cat. I have visited with him and talked with him on the phone several times and loved listening to his stories. If I'm not mistaken, he was the first person to take me to a Wal-Mart. I was visiting him one time and he picked me up in his truck with his faithful dog and we went to check out a new parking lot his company had just paved. It was the first Wal-Mart in his area of Pennsylvania. Later we went to visit his machine shop then off to the Cat Farm. George has inspired me in many ways as a "mechanical genius" in my opinion and was my inspiration to get into manufacturing restoration parts that he was not interested in producing himself for the Cats.
For those who never met George check out this interview of him.

I'm glad George got to come to the show at Bowling Green in September. Also glad ACMOC gave him the Dave Smith Award. George certainly deserved that recognition of his importance to the hobby. GWH
George really was a great guy. For those who don't know George was an Agricultural Engineer who graduated from Penn State and was always a huge supporter of our 1/4 scale pulling tractor here at PSU. Every year he would cut out the frame and some other key components with his huge waterjet and and bend them on one of his brakes. When we would go to pick up the parts he would give us the tour of the machine shop and the cat farm like Steve mentioned, and always have great stories to tell. He was a very inspirational person for sure and will be greatly missed.
Quite a guy. Thanks for the link to the video.
