Has anyone seen a cat backhoe attactment on a loader like 955 or evan a wheel loader like 910/920 i know deere and case had ones on loaders even the 544 {cat 944 size] had a backhoe has cat ever had one

My cat 922 had a warner and swazey detachable backhoe attachment installed on it when it was new in 1962.

The D4 78A1-up, 922 and 944 had a backhoe attachment. Probably the one Mike mentions.
Also the later D4D s/n 82/83J's had provision for hoe attachment.
Don't recall seeing one for the 955's but could be.

Old Magnet's parts book drawing is actually a Wain Roy Backhoe. See attached spec sheet.

The early D3's and 931" had a detachable hoe.

I have a WEAR backhoe on my 933G. Easy to take off and put back on. Bucket hydraulics do not work when hydraulic flow is switched to backhoe.
