Hi everyone,

I am budgeting my costs (mainly diesel fuel for F250) for tractor shows this year and was wondering...if I can attend one show in southern Wisconsin, which do you recommend? The two shows I have heard about are in Baraboo and one in Edgerton. I can only attend one as I am committed to several local shows this year. Do you guys have a favorite between those two?? My TEN is itching to get out of storage!

Baraboo is closer to you. I am not sure if they are going to start digging there this year. We have had some of the construction guys from Boo down to Edgerton as we do have a good size area to work machines. I am going to talk to two of the Baraboo guys in the next couple weeks to see if they going to move dirt this year.
As for driving Edgerton is going to be a hour to hour and half further for you from Appleton.
I am bias some what as I am the person that got the group together to move dirt at Edgerton. We have been having fun now for quite a few years.

Here are a few photos from last years show in Edgerton.

I guess I forgot to label the photos. First is the push we do across the field, Dave, Jordan, Kent, Jeff and Dennis. 2nd is my son running the 60 on loan to us from the Smith Family and Allen Steele on his 44 pull grader along side Chapter 7 president Jordan Judas on his serial #1 grader 3rd is Kevin and Erik on the Elevating Grader with someone running the Hot Rod 35. 4th is Kent Bates on the clubs D4. and last but not least is Opie from MN with his nicely restored 15 and breaking plow. The big NW 6 Drag line belongs to our club, but the NW 25 in the back round belongs to Jay Long. Jay and Allen are both members of the Baraboo club and display there and bring pieces to Rock River Thresheree also.

It looks like Edgerton has a huge playground! I don't mind the extra distance if you can run your machine. I would probably spend the night somewhere. I appreciate your input and photos!

Plenty of hotels and camping.
I plan on being in Baraboo at the Swap Meet also.
Also the Edgerton show is play weekend for Chapter 4.

My son told me today that we have a few small pull graders. If you want you can try one behind your machine. They pull my son's with a 1/2 scale Case 65 Steamer.

Thanks for that offer. I will let you know for sure...hopefully within a month of the show. We are in the process of buying a house and should close by May 30th. Can't wait to get moved in. Going to be a busy Summer. I still have to make one more trip to NC to get my Allis Chalmers B.

Do you have the address of the actual show site? Then I can start looking at hotels.
